Where Geofencing is required on a site, it is the responsibility of the business to provide trained staff or supervisors to assist Trades with the setup and configuration of Geofencing on their mobile devices.
SiteBook does not provide support for Geofencing-related functionality on individual devices due to the wide range of factors that may affect its performance on specific devices. These factors include, but are not limited to:
The age and performance of the mobile device (e.g. older devices may have unreliable GPS functionality).
Whether the user has granted the necessary permissions for Geofencing within the app.
Users potentially revoking these permissions over time (e.g. iPhones may prompt users to confirm location permissions after 7 days).
The availability and strength of location services, including GPS, mobile network, and Wi-Fi signals.
The age and performance of the mobile device (e.g. older devices may have unreliable GPS functionality).
