Permit Work Flow
Updated over a year agoPermits can be Requested and Approved via the SiteBook mobile app.
The Process followed looks like this:
Contractor Requests the Permit
Project Manager is emailed, Site Manager is sent an SMS
Site Manager Approves the Permit, Contractor is sent an SMS to notify approval
Work is completed and and Site Manager is notified via SMS
The Permit is Closed
Contractor Requests the Permit
Project Manager is emailed, Site Manager is sent an SMS
Site Manager Approves the Permit, Contractor is sent an SMS to notify approval
Work is completed and and Site Manager is notified via SMS
The Permit is Closed
Requesting a Permit using the Mobile App
To Request a Permit in the mobile app, select Permits and Request Permit
Upon requesting a Permit, some of the job details will fill in automatically
You will still need to provide:
Work Date
Planned Start / Finish Times
Description of work
Work Date
Planned Start / Finish Times
Description of work
You will also need to complete a Work Planning and Preparation Questionnaire
Once ready Submit Request
Lastly you'll need to Sign-Off
SMS when approved will send you an SMS notification once your Permit is Approved
Sign-off and Submit Request to finish
Approving a Permit
Site Managers can approve permits using the mobile app
Select Permits from the Job Menu to view all active Permits and requests
Click on the Permit to Review it
Read through the Permit Details and Approve Permit
Work Complete
Once work has been completed the Contractor can notify the Site Manager that the permit is ready to be closed
Click on the Active Permit to view its details
Scroll down and press Work Complete
Complete the final Checklist and add any Notes or Photos
Sign-Off and press Work Complete
Closing a Permit
Once work has been marked as complete, the Site Manager can close the Permit
Click on the Active Permit to view its details
Close the Permit and Confirm
The Closed Permit is now listed as Inactive, and can viewed by clicking on it
